Silver Spring In-Home Lifestyle Family Session
In-home lifestyle family sessions are so near and dear to my heart. I don’t really think there’s anything better than photographing your family in a space that’s meaningful to them, like your home. Not only are you and your family going to be more relaxed because you’re literally in your home, but we’re going to be able to tell your story in a way that’s authentic to you. When mom reached out to me about her family’s Silver Spring in-home lifestyle family session, I was so excited because she mentioned her parents would be there and she wanted to document them with their grandchildren.

Their session couldn’t come fast enough on my calendar. When the day finally arrived, I headed to N.’s house and got to meet everyone. The family has two children and they were both adorable! Her little girl is 3 months old. It was the perfect age for our sesion. She was cooing and smiling at me the whole time, and loved being held by her grandparents and family. Her son was a joy, too! He loves reading so he wanted to show me his room and his bookshelves. I made a point to capture portraits of him reading. Then there was their cat. Their cat was hilarious – jumping up on people’s backs and shoulders. It made me laugh so much! Their dog was a big cuddler too and wanted to be in every single photo! Another reason I love lifestyle photos – I get to meet your pets!
After the last year, I think we’ve all realized that time with our families is one of the most important things. Lifestyle sessions at home are a great way to spend an afternoon together while also capturing those memories for a lifetime. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, where your house is, or even what time of year it is. These sessions are so authentically you. If you’re thinking about a family session this fall, consider having a lifestyle session at home. Trust me, you won’t regret the chance to document your family at home!
