This extended family session in Annapolis was extra special to me, because I was documenting my bestie’s parents and their granddaughters. This family has always felt like my own, a true home away from home. They cultivated a house that was full of love, warmth, and creativity and I felt extremely honored to be the one to document this special time together. It was so moving to watch them both with their granddaughters.

These sweet girls had so much energy and spirit! During our session, their stuffies came along with us because they’re meaningful to the girls. It sounds like such a simple and silly thing to allow, but it was important to them… so it’s important to me. One day, this won’t be the phase they’re in and I love that the family will have a way to remember these playful years. For their session, we spent most of our time inside the house. It’s still very warm and loving, after all these years – and so full of light! I simply followed these four around as they spent the day together and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon together. The cuddles, kisses, and laughs were documented to be enjoyed for years to come, which is what lifestyle sessions are all about.
