Howard County Snowy Maternity Session

Every once in awhile, I get the chance to photograph my friends. These Howard County snowy maternity portraits features one of my favorite people and her beautiful family. Over the last year, this stunning mama and I have become close friends. When I found out that they were expecting a little girl and their son would be a big brother, I was just so thrilled for them! 

Snowy Maternity Portraits in Howard County, MD

I’ve had a vision for a gorgeous snowy maternity session for years! When I threw the idea out to my friend, she was absolutely on board. We kept watching the weather and waiting to photograph her session. In fact, we almost went ahead with her session the week before the snow came because we were running out of time. But our patience paid off! We had a beautiful day to document her growing belly and family at the Howard County Conservancy. 

The day of her session was pretty cold, so we started with her family portraits and then moved onto just her while everyone else warmed up. She wore several gowns from my client closet – and looked like a vision in every single one of them. I’m honestly obsessed with how everything came together during the shoot. It was so special to bring this idea to life!
