Nature Inspired Nursery Newborn Session with Baltimore MD Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

I loved getting to work with this family! First-time parents are always so much fun to work with. Sessions feel so tender and sweet because it’s truly a major milestone in their lives – and the story of their family. This newborn session took place in their daughter’s nature inspired nursery in Baltimore, MD and I have to admit I was kind of in love with the whole room! 

Nature Inspired Nursery Newborn Session

To document this sweet girl’s arrival, her parents had me come to their home to document a lifestyle newborn session. We focused mostly on her beautiful nursery – because it was so full of light and happiness. Her parents had been inspired by nature when they designed the room, and it shows. I love all of the sweet details – from her mobile to the artwork on the wall. Her cradle was even handed down through the family – and has all of the names of the babies who slept in it written on the wood. How special is that? The whole nursery looked amazing and was so beautiful to photograph the three of them. 

Our session felt so joyful and happy. I adored watching these new parents with their little girl. Things got a bit chaotic when her big fur-brother came in to join us. He wanted to crawl under my legs – which made me laugh. It didn’t bother me, because my kids do it all the time, but it was a lot of fun. He made us laugh and definitely wanted to be around his new sister.
