Annapolis Lifestyle Newborn Session in Nursery

There’s something special about being able to photograph a new baby when they come home. Those early days are some of the longest, hardest, and yet most meaningful days that new families go through. When this beautiful mama reached out to me about photographing Baby C’s Annapolis lifestyle newborn session, I was so excited. Her mama is another photographer in the DMV area, like me. And while every newborn session is SO special, it’s an extra honor to photograph another photographer’s family. 

Lifestyle Newborn Session in Nursery

When I arrived, we decided we would focus most of the session in Baby C’s nursery. It’s such a gorgeous space! With a whimsical star and space theme, it was the perfect space to welcome their baby girl home to. Personally, I always LOVE neutral nurseries, like C’s. The white crib was one of my favorite places to photograph this little girl and her parents. You can just see how much they already adore their little girl. Her big fur brother, Hemi, was also just wonderful. He was never very far away from his new little sister. It was adorable! 

After time in her nursery, Baby C and her parents hung out with me in the living room and master room to wrap up her session. I just adored watching her parents love on her and snuggle up together. Hemi even jumped on the couch for a few portraits with his family, too! It was the perfect way to end our session together.
