Silver Spring MD Newborn Lifestyle Session

Perhaps one of the best things about my job is getting to watch a family grow over the years. I’ve had the honor of photographing this particular family for years and watched as they’ve welcomed new babies to the world. So when they reached out to me about photographing their newest little girl, I couldn’t wait to visit! And not just because of the baby… but I’ve been dying to go to their house because they’ve completely renovated it! I couldn’t wait to see it. Their Silver Spring MD newborn lifestyle session was truly a dream come true in so many ways!

I absolutely love lifestyle sessions at home because it allows me to tell even more of your story as a family. We get to document how things are at home. Together, we work in all of the details you’ve so carefully picked for your life. This session was no different! Their home looks incredible – everything was picture perfect!! Because it was a bit of an overcast day, we had to stick to the rooms with the best natural light which meant we were in the kitchen and living room most of all. It was still beautiful. 

Baby M. is SO sweet and it’s clear she’s very loved by all of her big siblings. I loved watching her big sister help keep us moving and keeping the kids together during the shoot for me. She’s become such a wonderful young lady. And her younger brothers were super busy during the shoot but definitely adore their new baby sister. I know it’s going to be fun to watch all of them together over the years to come! This family is so full of love. I’m glad I was able to document them all together as well as special moments between each of the kids and their new sister and their parents. 

I hope that these portraits are treasured as Baby M. grows bigger – and I can’t wait to see everyone again soon!!
