Choosing outfits for your family portraits doesn’t have to be difficult this fall! Every client has access to my styling service, Style and Select, to help choose clothing pieces to wear. It takes into account what you have in your own closet and what I have in my client closet – saving you time and money when it comes to planning your session. Today, I’m sharing four beautiful fall color palettes from Style & Select to help you feel more inspired for your portraits this fall! These are fall color palettes you can use for your own family to find the perfect outfits.
This is a beautiful palette for any family and a great way to work a pop of color in. The yellow and orange work well together – and it’s easy to pull in those browns between shoes, accessories, and pants!
I love this palette! You get to bring in lots of colors to this fall palette. Accessories matter when it comes to planning family photos. Don’t forget to use your shoes or hair bows to bring neutrals into your outfit, like this family! PS. This mama dress is in my client closet, so if you love it, you can absolutely wear it for your portraits!
This palette is another favorite! Dusty colors and creams soften fall colors, which is always lots of fun to play with. I love the way that pink and mauve pop against the orange, yellows, and green of the fall. This dress is also in my client closet, if you like it too!
Sometimes, we don’t want our fall outfits to be full-on fall. With dark navy blues, you can cool down your outfit choices. The darker color still makes us think of fall days, without being too much. Paired with dusty pinks and grey, it absolutely works for your fall portraits!
I hope these four palettes inspire you to choose outfits you truly love for your fall portraits this year! Remember, my client closet and Style & Select are at your fingertips as a CTP client so we can plan the session of your dreams!
