As a mom of two littles who are growing way too fast, mom and me photos are so special to me. When this beautiful mama reached out to me about documenting her 8-month-old, I couldn’t say no to a fun session in the wildflowers. We had about a week to be ready once she booked and despite how quickly that time flew, I love how these whimsical wildflower mom and me photos turned out!
In the week leading up to their portrait session, Sarah and her little girl came over to she could check out my client closet. She wound up choosing this gorgeous sage green maxi dress – and a cream romper (my favorite!) for her little girl. When we arrived at the wildflower field at Castlebridge Farm, I knew we had made the right choice in outfits! Both ladies looked perfect against the fields.
Leading up to their session, the weather was a bit wacky. It was super humid and rainy most evenings so there was dew and a morning fog when we arrived that day. Although it wasn’t perfectly sunny, I think it added to the whimsy of their session among the flowers! I loved watching Sarah and her daughter interact. Her little girl was so sweet – especially when she gave her mama kisses. I’m so glad that they reached out to document this time together! I love how this whole gallery turned out – and what a fun memory for mama and her little girl, too!!
