If I were to ever specialize in one thing, in-home family photo sessions might be it. I recently photographed this beautiful family in their Baltimore home and their session reminded me just how obsessed I am with in-home family photos. I was so happy when they raved about how stress-free the session was throughout our time together, and afterwards. This sweet family was so much fun to work with! Their kids had tons of energy, which was great for me, but they were also 100% down to snuggle up with their parents for some quiet moments, too. It was the best of both worlds. One of the most important things to me about in-home family photos is capturing this stage of your family’s life together. Whether that’s reading books in the nursery or running on the couch… I want to document it. Their little ones were amazing. They wanted to play and show off their rooms. And their littlest one loved being upside down! Our session was spent reading “Where the Wild Things Are”, playing with toys, and some snuggles together. Their pup even got to join them – another great perk of in-home photos!

This family’s home was beautiful – lots of neutral colors and wonderful light, which made my job even easier. Their daughter wound up borrowing one of the pieces in my Client Closet.
