Family Feature: Portraits with the K Family by Maryland Family Photographer
I am so excited to be sharing my first family feature with you! I’ve been photographing the K Family since 2018. I documented their engagement session (2018), wedding in January of 2019, post wedding reception party, extended family photos, milestones for their son, and most recently spring portraits of their family with their 2 little ones. To say I’ve been with them through it all is definitely an understatement but it’s been such a blessing to work with this beautiful family. Recently, I decided to interview them to see what they love about working together for their Maryland family photos, and I wanted to share their sweet responses with you!
I get the honor of documenting this family twice this year since they are Christina’s Click Family Yearbook members. The K family is awesome and always up for a great time, so I always look forward to their sessions! I’m so thankful they were willing to share what they love about being a CTP Family.

What has been your favorite photography moment?
“I actually have 2 favorite photography moments. The first is from the first time Chrissy photographed us — she told us to “kiss with your teeth!” Since then it’s been an inside joke for us and something we pull out every time Chrissy photographs us. The second is from our most recent session — we have two little ones and Chrissy perfectly captured them being their little selves.”
What piece of advice would you give someone when selecting a family photographer or when in the process of family photos?
“When selecting a family photographer, find someone you vibe with!”
