I am so excited to share this beautiful Hearth & Home Project! A Hearth is a symbol of one’s home – and it really became part of the meaning behind this beautiful family lifestyle session. I wanted to document that moment in some family’s lives where there is so much love… and so much coffee. Like a hearth, coffee can be a sign of being home and being cozy. I’m so happy that the H family was open to this idea and we could capture their Howard County newborn and family lifestyle photos.

When I think about this lifestyle session, I think of the word “cozy”. Everyone was in their chic pajamas and was so comfortable the entire time. It allowed us to really keep the stress level down and just enjoy our session. When you have a newborn and a toddler at home, it’s chaotic and so joyful. A relaxed lifestyle session was the best way to document this special time in the Howell family’s lives.

Mom and Dad got to play with their little ones snuggled in bed, all while enjoying their coffee at home. There were so many tender moments between these four, and even more laughs together. I loved documenting all of the special quiet moments – a son tugging a mom’s hair, a dad holding his new daughter, playing airplane together, and cuddles. To me, this session is a perfect example of what a lifestyle family session is meant to be like! I absolutely love the concept of this project and I’m thrilled we could create these photos together.
