Sweet summertime! As the sun shines bright on each of us, summer proves to be the perfect season to make wonderful memories with our families. I’m not sure that there’s anything that says “summer in Maryland” more than an afternoon on a boat. Invite me along for your family’s next fishing or crabbing adventure. Some families like to dock their boat and even capture photos on the beach, enjoying the sun and sand.

Summertime Meals 

I love a good backyard meal in the summertime! Sticky hands from popsicles, the smell of grills being fired up, cracking crabs on the wooden table, and of course s’mores over the fire pit. It’s the perfect relaxed atmosphere to document your family’s special summer traditions.  Picnics at the park (or beach) can also be a great option in the summer. 

County Fairs 

All across the state, there’s fairs and special events all summer long. Consider a family session at one of these amazing fairs – or even Funland! In the summer, I travel to Delaware, which means that there are even more options for your family’s summer photos. (I did this for my own family recently on the beach in Delaware!).
