Cozy Newborn Session with Baltimore, Maryland Newborn & Fur Family Lifestyle Photographer

As a Baltimore family photographer, I definitely get excited when I find out that a family’s fur babies are going to be involved in our session together. For this sweet family, their four dogs were absolutely going to be a part of their new brother’s newborn photos at home.

Our session was mostly spent in baby’s nursery – a sweet Hundred Acre woods theme! There, his parents could rock him and snuggle up with him. Lifestyle sessions at home – in nurseries, in your kitchen or living room – are always so special to me, because it’s capturing you how you are in this phase of life. For parents with a new baby, I know how many nights are spent in those rocking chairs and watching your little love sleep in their cribs. To have this be the spot of your first family photos is just so meaningful. 

Throughout my time with this sweet family, their pups definitely wanted to hang with me! They kept coming over to me. While it was my third time working with the dogs, their parents took the time to slowly introduce each one to me while I was there. It definitely paid off, because they all stayed calm. I was able to let them be with their new baby brother without too much excitement over a new person being in their space. This let me slow down and capture the sweet relationships they’re building with the new baby. They are so sweet and I loved capturing them giving their baby brother lots of kisses. 

Thank you to this beautiful family for allowing me to capture this special chapter of your lives! I’m so happy I got to see your sweet pups again and document their relationship with their new baby brother!
