Favorite Photo Gifts for the Holiday Season Using Your Family Photos from DC and Maryland Family Photographer 

The gift of photography is priceless. Each holiday season, I’m reminded of just how special these moments are. The portraits we capture of your family tell your story and create a physical legacy that is passed on for generations. This year, I wanted to share five of my favorite photo gifts for the holiday season using your family photos! I love creating gifts from our family’s photos and I hope you will, too!

1. Linen Flat Lay Albums:

6×6 or 8 x 8 – flat lay albums in linen are some of my favorite gifts to create. I’m not the only one – members of Christina’s Click also agree this is their favorite product each year! Our heirloom albums use professional lustre photo paper with a textured surface, providing rich color reproduction and a soft look while being resistant to fingerprints and scratches. While linen covers are the most popular, I also get many requests for leather-like covers, too. Ivory is a super timeless and popular options! These make great gifts for yourself to keep at home or other family members. 

2. Accordion Brag Book:

Our accordion brag books are a great gift no matter what kind of session we photographed for your family, but especially so for newborns! These little brag books are perfect for new parents and grandparents. The book is a velvet accordion with an engraved name on the front. How special is that?!

3. Calendar:

If you want to create something useful, consider a calendar! Our gorgeous calendars include images from your session(s) this year and are printed on high quality paper. The quality ensures that your calendar will remain beautiful year round and look true to life.  Calendars are available in a variety of sizes and come ready to display with a beautiful wood stand. They make a great gift for anyone who wants something practical this year. 

4. Gallery boards in linen box:  

Gallery boards are absolutely gorgeous prints from your session! They’re printed on an archival matte paper and mounted to 3mm white PVC board, for a durable and long-lasting print. That’s super important for young families! Gallery boards are wonderful for displaying on their own or in a custom frame which means that your gift recipient has lots of options. The linen box is a perfect place to store them when they aren’t on display. Look how gorgeous it is, too! Add a bow or ribbon and you’re ready to hand it to your family members. 

5. Gift Card:
