I grew up in a rural community and when a client reached out to head to Western Howard County for a family session that included their farmhouse, outdoor garden space, and a tire swing… I was so excited. It felt like going home in a way. All of these family lifestyle photos make my heart smile. These three women are so incredible and I loved watching mama be with her daughters!

We started their photos in their home – with lots of cuddles and then some jumping on the couch. Silly moments like that are always welcome during our photo sessions! Their beautiful Dalmation and gray cat were included in the snuggles too – even though I’m not sure they always wanted to be. They were both precious and the girls were great with them, giving their furry babies lots of cuddles and love. After some time inside, we moved to the gardens and the tire swing (!!). The girls were happy to blow off some energy and I loved finding little moments of joy to document for these three.
I loved being out in rural Howard County for this session and I hope it won’t be the last time I see these three and their beautiful faces (or their furry babies)! Thank you for asking me to document this moment in your lives.
