Every family has their own story. Some are loud and messy, filled with belly laughs and crayon drawings on the walls. Others are quiet and steady, marked by knowing glances and well-worn routines. Some families look like the ones we grew up with, and others look entirely different—bound by love, not tradition. What unites them all is the beauty of connection, and that’s why I do what I do as a Baltimore family photographer.

Hi, I’m Christina, a Baltimore MD family lifestyle photographer based in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. My mission is to celebrate all definitions of family and document their unique stories through honest, heartfelt photography. But it’s more than just a job to me—it’s my passion, my purpose, and my way of giving back to the world.

Finding Beauty in Everyday Moments

Growing up, I remember flipping through family photo albums and feeling the warmth of those captured memories. It wasn’t the posed or perfect pictures that stuck with me—it was the real, raw moments. Me and my sister full out attacking my Uncle Dingy in our backyard with mischievous faces. I still think of My Uncle Dingy, who wasn’t even an Uncle by blood but forever a family member that quickly passed when I was in college and still holds a special place in my heart…. An image of my mom and I holding oars after we tried to canoe but struggled the entire time. Those were the photos that felt like magic.

I realized my mom was the one who was behind those magical images and I wish she was in more photos with us.

When I started photographing families, I knew I wanted to create that same kind of magic. Not stiff portraits or forced smiles, but honest, heartwarming glimpses into real life. The little things—a fleeting look, a shared laugh, the way your child’s hand fits in yours—are what make your family’s story so special.I wanted to create that same feeling for other families. Not just pictures to hang on the wall, but time capsules of joy, connection, and love. Whether it’s a toddler giggling uncontrollably as they’re flipped all around, a quiet moment of a parent soothing a baby, or siblings wrestling or tickling around—these are the moments that matter.

Documenting Connection as a Baltimore Family Photographer

At the heart of my business is a deep belief that every family is beautiful. The shape, size, or structure of your family doesn’t matter to me; what matters is the love you share. I started my business to document those connections and show families how extraordinary they are, just as they are.

Families often tell me they’re nervous before a session. They worry their kids won’t cooperate, that their house isn’t “magazine-worthy,” or that they’re not photogenic. But here’s the thing: your family’s beauty doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from the way you look at each other, the little quirks you share, and the life you’ve built together.

Why I’m a Creative

Photography gives me a unique lens—literally and figuratively—to see the world. It allows me to freeze fleeting moments and turn them into something timeless. I’m driven by the thrill of capturing authentic emotion, by the challenge of telling a story in a single frame, and by the privilege of being trusted to document people’s most cherished relationships.

I get to share the perspectives and points of view of other families.

As a creative, I also value connection—both with my clients and with the work itself. Every session teaches me something new about love, resilience, and what it means to be human. It’s a constant reminder of why I picked up a camera in the first place.

Photographing Why It Matters to YOU

Life moves so fast. Kids grow up, relationships evolve, and we sometimes forget to slow down and appreciate the beauty of right now. That’s why I’m here—to help families hit “pause” and preserve these moments forever.
