Based in Howard County, Maryland, Christina Tundo Photography serves all the definitions of family within the DMV area, preserving the authentic moments, both big and small, that you want to hold onto forever.
As a Baltimore newborn photographer, there’s nothing more special than photographing families more than once as they welcome their second (or third – or more!) baby. To know I am being trusted with the most precious memories is a true gift. This sweet family in Baltimore is one of those families. This was my second time working with them and it was wonderful to catch up, meeting their new baby girl. Their session inspired me to share a little bit about what lifestyle newborn sessions look like when there’s big siblings involved – or it’s your second time as a parent.
It was such a joy to be welcomed to their home to capture their early days with the newest family member: a beautiful baby girl. The four of them snuggled and cuddled up together and their son had a blast showing me all around their home. Most of our session took place in the gorgeous nursery, which is certainly never a requirement for a newborn session! We can photograph your family in any of your favorite places in the house. But, since dad is a contractor and mom has a great eye, this space was the perfect location for their portraits.
So many parents worry about how their newborn session might go – especially when there’s a big sibling involved… especially when they’re a toddler. When having a newborn session with a toddler or younger little, there are some things to expect:
No matter what, the big sibling and the newest family member will lead the show and that’s just the way it is. I personally think it’s perfect and I love being able to help create those special memories for families.
