Based in Howard County, Maryland, Christina Tundo Photography serves all the definitions of family within the DMV area, preserving the authentic moments, both big and small, that you want to hold onto forever.
In a few of my recent posts, you might have seen my reference to my “client closet.” Today, I thought it would be fun to really explore what my client closet is, what’s included, and why I absolutely love it (and my clients do, too!).
It’s a curated collection of clothing items that clients can borrow for their photography session. Each clothing item photographs beautifully with textures and flattering colors and was handpicked for my incredible families.
I have around 30 dresses ranging from XS-2X that range in styles that are classic, boho, and romantic. The style and shape of the dresses flatter all body shapes. I have plenty of bump, nursing, and postpartum friendly dresses for moms in all stages of life. Additionally, I also have children’s pieces that families can borrow for kids ranging from 6 months to 7 years, as well as shoes and accessories.
All of my clients have access to my styling services because I truly want them to have a wonderful experience with me and their images. When you decide to use the styling services, you’ll create a vision board. Once you create that inspiration and submit it, I’ll be notified. We’ll then set up a time to chat on video and I’ll show you what I have in the client closet that would work for you! Before your session, I’ll bring your top items so you can try them on and get ready for the photos. If you want, you can also set up an appointment before your session to come over and try them on, too! Whatever works better for you! It’s as simple as that.
My families have given me nothing other than positive feedback for the client closet. There’s several reasons, but probably the top two are that it saves them time and money. The busy families I work with don’t have time to go searching for hours for the perfect dress or outfit. Now, I can just help them decide easily and quickly with the closet! Additionally, it saves them money because they’re not purchasing clothes that will only be worn once. I think my families also love having this option because now they can create the portraits they dreamed of – because the clothes truly fit the location and their photos.
Honestly, I just feel like a fairy godmother when my families use my client closet! I know that their images will be beautiful and they’ll look amazing in front of the camera. I also know that my clients will just feel more relaxed knowing that they look great. When their styling is on point, they can take a breath and just really focus on their family and being present in the session. Not worrying about how their outfits look.
Offering a client closet is something that’s super important to me. I love knowing that my clients are taken care of and feel confident in their portraits. Not to mention, I just love how everyone looks – seriously! Everyone looks SO good and that’s the best part of having a client closet… knowing that we’re making your portrait dreams come true!

[…] Looking for a bit more color in your family portraits this spring? Then this palette is for you! I love the combination of robin egg blue, a peach/pink color and tans. This color palette looks great for cherry blossom portraits and against the green grass and trees. I love the pop of color and the robin egg blue is a great starting place for building this palette!
